Dr. Amar Siddique is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and Specialist in Neonatal Medicine. As a Neonatologist and Pediatrician, he provides care for both term and preterm babies born in the NICU and Well Baby Unit, at Clovis Community Medical Center.
Dr. Siddique and his team at Clovis Pediatric Group (CPG) provide follow-up care at the CPG offices, once an infant has been discharged from the hospital ― this practice model is based on supporting “Continuity of Care”.

My Background
I’m a board-certified pediatrician and neonatologist. I completed my pediatric residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL and my neonatology fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. I moved to the Central Valley, and I’ve been serving our community as a neonatologist since 2009.
My “A-ha” Moment
Generally, a neonatologist takes care of babies in a hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Typically once a newborn is discharged from the NICU, their care transfers to a pediatrician… There are great pediatricians in our community who can care for premature and complex care newborns, but I always felt that I could do more to serve my NICU Graduates—and I wanted to do more! After all, nobody knows these babies better than their NICU doctor… what if I could continue to care for these special NICU babies even after they’re discharged from the hospital? What if they had continuity of care, how much more could they thrive?
This thought inspired me to open a pediatric practice to complement my neonatology practice… and in 2014, Clovis Pediatric Group was born.
As our offices continue to grow, our goal remains the same: to be your care providers of choice, where your baby can receive continuity of care from birth to 18 years of age.
